Death of Patrick Hogan

     Dewitt, Ia., Feb. 14- Word was received here at noon today of the death of Patrick Hogan, aged 70 years at Parnell, Ia., to where he went from Dewitt about twenty years ago. Mr. Hogan will be remembered by old soldiers of this vicinity as he lived here for many years.
     He was born in the parish of Richardston, County Lodd [sic, Louth], Ireland and came to this country at an early age. He lived in Davenport for a short time, then moved to Dewitt where he lived for years. He leaves a brother in Dewitt, John Hogan.
     The funeral will be held at Parnell, Ia., Saturday.
