A bailiff named Murphy was shot dead in Killarney, Ireland,

Mr. Dunne, magistrate for County Clare, Ireland, has been
superceded by the executive for supporting the National League's plan of
Archbishop Walsh of Dublin has donated £10 to the traversers'
indemnity fund. In the letter accompanying the donation he expresses sympathy
for the traversers, who he says, are denied a fair trial by jury packing.
