GURTEEN BRANCH. The weekly meeting of this branch was held on Sunday, fifth,
inst. under the presidency of Rev. M. HENRY, C.C. Thirty new members were
enrolled. James HANNON, ex-policeman, was denounced for having sent cattle
to graze on the lands of James COSTELLO, J.P. whose tenants have joined the
plan because of his refusal to give any abatement of rent; also James BRUEN,
for having ground oats for a landgrabber.
