    Peter H Murphy, brother of Mrs. P.J. Gallagher, 413 E. Twelfth St., Davenport, died in Pittsburg Tuesday. Mrs. Gallagher is now in Pittsburg and will attend the funeral. Mr. Murphy died of malaria. He was baggage master of Union depot in Pittsburg and was born Aug. 7, 1867 in County Tyrone, Ireland. For 20 years he has been an American citizen and during 18 of these he has been employed by the Pennsylvania road. Besides Mrs. Gallagher there survive his sisters, Mrs. Fred Reimer, Mrs. Hugh Daly, Mrs. Francis Hannill and Miss Lucy Murphy, all of Pittsburg and 3 sisters in Ireland, Misses Anna, Susan and Mary. He was unmarried.
     Mr. Murphy was a financial secretary of division #11 of the A.O.H., a member of the Elks and of the Knights of Columbus.
