   DIED

     In Lanark Twp. 7th conc. Friday, Nov. 27th, Patrick O'Keefe, aged 87 years. Born in South Ireland he came here as a young man. His wife survives him. Burial in the Ferguson's Falls cemetery. Uncle of Thos. Richards, of Prestonvale.

DIED

     At Lanark, Thurs. Dec. 24th, Eliza Taylor, relict of the late William Pepper, aged 86 years. A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Taylor, she was born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1810. As a young child she came with her parents who settled at Brockville. She married when young to Wm. Pepper, then of Elizbethtown. They moved first to Oakville, thence to Belleville and finally to 2nd conc. Lanark twp. They had four sons and one daughter: John of Belleville; James, of the Victoria House in Lanark; George, of Stonewall, Man.; William on the homestead; Mrs. Kelly, Seattle, Wash. Her husband died at the age of 88 years eight years ago. Burial in the English church cemetery.
