It is reported from Youghal that a process-server named Ahern, going to serve summonses near Villiers-town, county Waterford, on fishermen who refused to pay more than 10s. each on their 30s. fishing licenses, was stopped by a number of men dressed as women, who took from him his papers, stripped him, tarred him all over, and then set him free.
