CAVAN, SEPT 24.

Every thing seems perfectly quiet in this neighbourhood. A General Court Martial has been sitting here for many days past, and continues to sit, Colonel NESBITT, President. Some have been hanged, various punishments have been inflicted on others, every man who has been liberated was obliged to enter into recognizances with solvent securities for future good behaviour. A part of the Fifeshire Fencibles is here, who conduct themselves with the utmost propriety.
