Limerick Chronicle, Wednesday, September 12, 1821:
     "Yesterday, Richard Going, Esq. Chief Magistrate of Police, committed to the County Jail, four men from the vicinity of Askeaton, who are charged with being concerned in the attack on Mr. Ivis's {sic} house, in which the Police successfully repulsed the assailants and apprehended several of them."
