MARRIAGE

        AHERNE--TALLENT--January 11th, at R.C. Church, Tallow,
        county Waterford, William E. Aherne, 1, West Beach,
        Queenstown, to Mary, second daughter of James Tallent,
        Glencairne, Lismore.

                                DEATHS

        BUTLER--On the 14th inst., at Mount Verdon House, Cork, Annie,
        the wife of Thomas Butler, R.M.--R.I.P.

        MURPHY--On the 15th of December, at Denver, Colorado, late of
        Farrenferris, Cork, Julia, eldest daughter of Thomas and
        Catherine Murphy.  Immaculate Heart of Mary pray for her.

        BURKE--On January [14?]th, at Shamrock Lawn, Douglas, Richard
        Charles Burke, in his 82nd year.  Funeral on Monday morning at
        9.30.  R.I.P.

        MOSELEY--On the 9th inst., at The Windmill, Walsall, Elizabeth,
        the beloved wife of Joseph Moseley, Iron Founder, and youngest
        daughter of Thomas Henderson, of London, Glasgow, and Birmingham.


        MURPHY--At his residence, 34, Coach street, Michael Murphy,
        cabinet maker.  R.I.P.  Funeral for St. Joseph's Cemetery at
        3 o'clock to-morrow (Sunday).  American and London papers
        please copy.

                             IN MEMORIAM

        In sad and loving memory of my dear son, Willie Bowley,
        41, Lower road, who was drowned on the 16th January, 1897.
        Lord have mercy on his soul.

AHEARN--On the 19th, at the Hotel Ardmore, Bridget, the
        beloved wife of Michael Ahearn, after a brief illness,
        aged 73 years. Interment at Ardmore on Friday. R.I.P.
        Deeply Regretted.
