Marriages


On the 13th inst., at Cornaher House, county Westmeath, by special license,
Gerald Fitzgerald O'Connor, Esq., late Major 85th regiment, the descendant
of the ancient and illustrious house of O'Connor Kerry,  and cousin-german
to the Knight of Glyn, to Miss Macnamara, daughter of William Nugent
Macnamara, Esq., M.P. for this county. The lovely bride was given away by
her brother, Captain Macnamara, late of the 8th Hussars, and the ceremony
was attended by all the fashionable neighbourhood. Shortly after the
ceremony the happy pair left in the travelling carriage for their residence
in Kerry.


At Tipperary, William Hodges, Esq., of Donogroge Castle, in this County, to
Elizabeth, eldest daughter of James Sadlier, Esq., Brookville, county
Tipperary.
