At Ballintemple, William Henry Barron, Esq., of Hermitage, county Waterford, to Catherine, daughter of Samuel Cooper, of Killenue Castle, in the county of Tipperary, Esq.

The New Catholic Association met on Saturday at 3 o'clock, Sir T. Esmonde in the chair, Mr. Secretary O'Gorman rose to propose, that a respected Protestant Gentleman, not unknown to the Association, he meant Mr. Thomas Steel, be admitted a member. He was a Protestant Gentleman of the county Clare. He, Mr. O'Gorman had known him from his early youth and he knew him to be distinguished for his attachment not only to the great question which interests this county, but to the principals of civil and religious liberty in their most enlarged sense. He was a gentleman of fortune in Clare. He had spent a great part of his life in foreign countries, had travelled much, and benifited by his travels. He devoted himself with ardour to the cause of Emancipation .......... the motion was carried.

Death
At Killaloe, on Monday night, Mrs. Martin, wife of Michael Martin, Esq., a lady universally lamented.
