The Right Hon. the Lord Chancellor has been pleased to appoint Thomas Steele of Creganowen in this county, Esq., a magistrate.

A party of the Ennis Yeomanry marched this morning for Tulla, where they are stationed. Hugh Brady, Esq., is appointed Sub-Lieutenant in the corps.

Monday night, the dwelling of Gerald Griffin, Esq., near Shanagolden, was entered by a gang in the search of firearms.
