Ennis Chronicle Jan 20 1808 Wednesday

Thursday at twelve midnight six men entered the house of Mr. Michael Madden,
near Athluncard, near the City of Limerick .... he was not home .... struck
his wife .... they were unknown to the wife, a boy and a girl, the only
persons in the home.

Death
     At Ogonnelloe, Geo. Brann, farmer, aged 91, his father died a few years
back, and had lived to the great period of 125 years.
     At Ann-Brook, near Nenagh, Mrs. Young, wife to Wm. Young and niece of Lt.
Gen. England.
