SHIP NEWS
   The Brownlow, Captain Caughey, from London for this port, past by Gravesend the 19th inst.
   The Catherine, Captain M'Roberts, from hence, arrived safe at Liverpool the 19th inst.
   The London Gazette announces the capture of the Spanish packet Golondrina, pierced for 20 guns, but only four on board, by the Mermaid, Captain Newman—Le Debut, French brig, of 8 guns, by the Sylph, Captain White—The Resolu, French privateer, of 14 guns, by the Spitfire sloop, Captain Seymour—Le Sans Quartier, French lugger, of fourteen guns, by the Danae, Captain D'Auvergne.
   The Gazette of the 13th inst. mentions the capture of the French brig privateer L'Utile, of 16 guns, eight-pounders, ten of which are brass, and 120 men, quite new, by his Majesty's ship Boadicea, Capt. R. G. Keats.

—MARRIED—
   On the 8th inst. Andrew Robinson Stoney Bowes Strathmore Stopford Palmer; Esq. of Sraugh, in the Queen's County, Lieut. York Fencible Infantry, to Miss Fraser, daughter of the Rev. Doctor Fraser, of Kircubbin.
   On the 14th instant, Eleazer Birch Gillmer, of Lionhill, Esq. a Captain of the Honourable East India Company Service, to Miss Rachel Birch, daughter of the Rev. James Birch of Dromore.

—DIED—
   In Newtownlimavaddy, on the 13th instant, Mr. Newman Moore, permanent sergeant in Captain M'Causland's Corp, Fruit hill, very much lamented by the Corps and all his acquaintances.
   At Ballyvester, the 15th inst. Mrs. Catherwood.
   At Mahan, in the county of Armagh, on the 17th inst., Mrs. Workman, aged 71 years, relict of the late Meredith Workman, Esq.
