Saturday last a Proclamation was issued by his Excellency the Lord
Lieutenant and Council for proclaiming the following Persons, presented
by the Grand Juries of several Counties, to be Tories, Robbers, and
Rapparees [freebooting soldiers] out in arms and on their keeping,
viz. [...] James Ahern the Younger, of Cashell, and Thomas Wall, late of
Curragineen in the County of Tipperary; which said several Persons are
required to surrender themselves to some one or more Justice or Justices
of the Peace of the said Counties, on or before the 27th of March next, or
to be convicted of High Treason and suffer accordingly.
